From what we were told during the last developer interview, the new update is scheduled to launch very soon. There is no date set yet, but we do expect it to hit soon and most probably before end of December.
There’s an announced Community event on the 13th of December, and a few Community leaders will then showcase some of the updates.

For our player base, mostly PVE players, we suggest that you invest in gold in the game. By visiting the traders, you can buy gold at the bank.
The reason for this is that Gold inventory is said to carry over to games post update.
This will give you somewhat of an easier start, once the game server launches the 0.95 update.

The things we expect to see in the first part of the update is:

• the pickup truck
• changed puppet AI
• puppets that can open doors and climb through windows
  

There’s also talk of a horde system for puppets, but from what I could gather – that’s slated for a later update.
